Meet Mrs. Erickson

My foundation as a voice teacher comes from my experience in public education. As a high school choir director of six years, I have coached numerous students to success in Texas All-State Choir, Solo & Ensemble, auditions for college music programs, and more.

In 2022, I opened Erickson Voice Studio to expand my reach as an educator within the Houston community. My studio has seen an 80% rate of Pre-Area singers making an All-State choir, an 85% rate of Region singers advancing to the Pre-Area round, and 100% rate of singers making a Region choir.

As a choir director, my groups have consistently received Sweepstakes and Best in Class awards. I am regularly engaged as a judge and clinician in the Houston area, and I was an invited presenter for the 2023 Texas Music Educators Association convention. In 2025, I will serve as a section leader for the Texas All-State Treble Choir.
